American Idol scandal, you say?

Are we really so desperate that every little thing is a scandal? Earlier this week, Paula Abdul flubbed when she critiqued a performance that hadn't taken place. Today various news sources say Ms. Abdul admitted the judges view the rehearsals and pre-prepare some feedback based on the non-televised performances.

Is this really a scandal? Exxon is STILL posting profits while I pay $50 to fill half of my Pontiac Aztek's gas tank, all kinds of lies are still flying about with regard to the wars we're involved with and the democratic primaries are being dragged on and on and on while a verbose preacher is not being looked at as having an agenda against my favorite Presidential candidate, Barack Obama, and the scandal of the day is that Paula Abdul can't read her own notes properly.

wtf?

Snippets

Who pays Rev. Wright? He sure is making sure Barack Obama loses the presidential nomination with all this talking he's doing. I read on the Huffington Post Hillary Clinton's backers supporters for his engagement at the National Press Conference yesterday. How surprising.

Who minds Miley? I honestly thought these recent pics of Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair, barebacked and all, were pretty. She looks  like  a  cherub, in the face. Otherwise, she needs  to eat!   Whoever  takes care  of her  is doing a crappy job , putting  her in "embarrassing" situations and denying her food. FEED HER and get her some  responsible guardians.

Hillary misspoke

First, let me say I am so over this election. I know who I'm voting for. The rest of this is just fodder. The issues important to you and I, like the housing situation, job losses, the security of our freedoms, the value of the dollar, who is going to watch the kids after school... none of this is being discussed.

And to top it off, Mrs. Clinton is having a memory problem or delusions of dodging bullets incorrectly. I dont' even have the patience to finish this post. Let me just say that if I told an employer I worked somewhere I never set foot in, or if i stated I was an employee where I was a temp worker, I'd be doubted and fired, and have a tough time getting rehired. So would you. Why should Hillary be any different?

Britney, Britney, Britney

So it's all about britney and her "comeback" move playing a role on the tv sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Hopefully, if we leave her alone, she can stay healthy and do whatever she darn well pleases without the prying eyes of the media watching. I've got high hopes for her.

Soldier's Story

During the past five years we've heard the protests and arguments against the war, we've seen the headlines about troops suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and suicides. I have not seen an account as detailed and compelling that gave me a sense of what it's really like working the Army's medical system though. This story, from the Denver Westword says it all.
