Main | XXX: State of the Union-- It's Worth a Buck »

So you haven't seen Jumper yet?

You absolutely should. It's a perfect way to escape into a believable story where people have the ability  to, at a  moments' notice, jump to another place.  Not like, from  your chair to the  television, but to another location, like Hawaii, Paris, or the middle of the ocean. Check out the trailer here.

The star is a high-school kid abandoned by his mother and hardly cared-for by his father, whom he lives with.  Kid discovers he can teleport himself anywhere, and so the story begins. Of course, it's not only fun and games because even Jumpers have a predator to run from, My summary ends here.

I don't say go see it just because the story is good. The graphics are worth whatever a movie costs, the writing is clever, and it's interesting to think about the possibilities, Unliike other hyped-up movies, the best scenes aren't limited to the trailer you just saw. Rating?4 1/2 of 5
